- Place RST on the lower right corner of the same Q from Step 2, with the drawn line from the lower left to upper right. Sew on the line. Trim. Press to Q.
- Sew (1) E to the right of the unit. Press to E. Set Unit 1 aside.
- Sew (1) P to the bottom of the unit. Press to P. Set Unit 1 aside.

- Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the WS of (1) D.
