Light green:

  • E: (1) 2″ x 4 1/2″
  • F: (1) 2″ x 7″
  • G: (1) 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″

Medium light green:

  • H: (1) 2″ x 4 1/2″
  • I: (1) 2″ x 7″
  • J: (1) 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″

Medium dark green:

  • K: (1) 2″ x 4 1/2″
  • L: (1) 2″ x 7″
  • M: (1) 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″

Dark green:

Piecing Instructions:

ASSEMBLY – UNIT 1:

  1. Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the WS of (1) D.
  2. Place RST on (1) Q with the line from the lower left to upper right. Sew on the line. Trim. Press to Q with D in the upper left corner.

  3. Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the WS of (1) C.
  4. Place RST on the lower right corner of the same Q from Step 2, with the drawn line from the lower left to upper right. Sew on the line. Trim. Press to Q.

  5. Sew (1) E to the right of the unit. Press to E. Set Unit 1 aside.
  6. Sew (1) P to the bottom of the unit. Press to P. Set Unit 1 aside.

ASSEMBLY – UNIT 2:

  1. Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the WS of (1) D.
  2. Place RST on (1) G with the line from the upper left to lower right. Sew on the line. Trim. Press to G with D in the lower left corner.

  3. Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the WS of (1) C.
  4. Place RST on the upper right corner of the same G from Step 1 in this section, with the drawn line from the upper left to lower right. Sew on the line. Trim. Press to G.

  5. Sew (1) H to the top of the unit. Press to H.
  6. Sew (1) B to the top of the unit. Press to H.
  7. Sew (1) F to the right of the unit. Press to F. Set Unit 2 aside.

ASSEMBLY – UNIT 3:

  1. Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the WS of (1) D.
  2. Place RST on (1) M with the line from the upper left to lower right. Sew on the line. Trim. Press to M with D in the upper right corner.

  3. Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the WS of (1) C.
  4. Place RST on the lower right corner of the same M from Step 1 in this section, with the drawn line from the upper left to lower right. Sew on the line. Trim. Press to M.

  5. Sew (1) O to the bottom of the unit. Press to O.
  6. Sew (1) B to the bottom of the unit. Press to B.
  7. Sew (1) L to the left of the unit. Press to L.

  8. Sew (1) N to the bottom of (1) B. Press to B.
  9. Sew (1) A to the bottom of the same N from Step 7 in this section. Press to A.

  10. Sew the section from Steps 7 in the Unit 2 section through Step 6 in this section to the right of the section from Steps 7-8 in this section. Press to the right.

ASSEMBLY – UNIT 4:

  1. Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the WS of (1) D.
  2. Place RST on (1) J with the line from the lower left to upper right. Sew on the line. Trim. Press to J with D in the lower right corner.

  3. Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the WS of (1) C.
  4. Place RST on the upper left corner of the same J from Step 1 in this section, with the drawn line from the lower left to upper right. Sew on the line. Trim. Press to J.

  5. Sew (1) K to the left of the unit. Press to K.
  6. Sew (1) B to the left of the unit. Press to K.
  7. Sew (1) I to the top of the unit. Press to I.

ASSEMBLY – FULL BLOCK:

  1. Gather all Units 1-4.

  2. Sew Unit 1 to the top of Unit 2. Press to Unit 1.

  3. Sew Unit 3 to the top of Unit 4. Press to Unit 4.

  4. Sew Unit 1/2 to the left of Unit 3/4, nesting the seams where P and N meet. Press to the left.
