Sometimes it feels like the 60s are still here with us. Guess what? They are, and in a good way! For a project to keep you feeling cool and looking cool, you can’t go wrong with our Palm Springs Summer Caftan. This project is cut in one piece, made with a lightweight fabric like chiffon, cotton gauze, batiste, or lawn — something that drapes well under its own weight. Most of the work is in the preparation; there’s actually more prep work than sewing. When you’re done, you’ll have a lovely V-neck pull-on caftan that’s perfect for pool-side lounging.
Take a trip back in time to the carefree days of childhood and the joy of frozen summer treats and make our Retro Ice Pop Quilt Block. The design is lean, clean, and totally whimsical.
