  3. Die cut out the letters for “Home Sweet Home” from the print fabric.

  4. Cut into the burlap at 9 inches.

  5. Pull a thread at the cut area, this will give you the straight of the grain.

  6. Cut into the space left behind by the thread you pulled out.

  7. Repeat Steps 4-6 so that you have two burlap pieces.
  8. Fray the edges of the burlap pieces, so that you have about an inch of fringe all the way around.
  9. Center one piece of muslin onto one piece of burlap and zigzag stitch close to the edge all the way around. Repeat for the second burlap piece.

  10. Fold one of the burlap pieces in half and mark with a pin so that you have a guide for the center point. Working from the middle, center the letters for “Home Sweet Home” onto one of the pieces of burlap.

  11. Remove the backing and press the letters in place according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  12. Place wrong sides together and stitch around the burlap pieces leaving an opening of about 3-4 inches at the bottom.

  13. Fill each end with filler and stitch up the closing.
  14. Enjoy!
