Jessie Agnew is a mixed media artist, patternmaker, seamstress, costumer, and fashion designer. She runs I Am Sew Crazy, an instructional website geared towards giving visitors ideas, inspiration, and tutorials so they can bring their own creative dreams to life. Jessie incorporates many natural materials into her work, and employs a wide variety of techniques including metalwork, painting, LED lighting, weaving, and melting/burning fabrics. She is heavily into upcycling and reducing waste, and a close inspection of her designs reveals scrounged and repurposed materials such as old vinyl records, clothing labels, electrical wire, clock parts, and scraps generated by the upholstery industry. She is a lifelong Jesus fan, and credits Him with all of her creativity, abilities, and inspiration.
